The club can today confirm that the loan deals for youngsters Hamish Thomson and Alassan Jones have now expired.

Defender Thomson will now return to his parent club Livingston to continue his development.

The central back was a regular in the ‘Gers backline having joined from the Lions in January, and had a debut to remember as he scored on debut away to Gretna.

Youngster Alassan Jones meanwhile has been freed from his contract at Dundee United, and is now available as a free agent.

The club would like to thank both players for their time at the club and wish each the best in their future career.

Berwick Rangers would also like to place on record its thanks to Livingston and Dundee United for the respective deals.

As alluded to in an earlier update, further information on the club’s retained players is likely to be delivered at the end of June.
