Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday that he will take Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine if it’s approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

The infectious disease expert made the declaration when asked by MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell if he would take the vaccine that Pfizer said Monday was proven to be 90 percent effective.

“I’m going to look at the data, but I trust Pfizer. I trust the FDA. These are colleagues of mine for decades, the career scientists,” Fauci said.
