The Lagos/Ibadan and Warri/Itakpe rail lines will soon generate up to 3,000 jobs for Nigerians, says FG.
A business case for the project has already been presented and it will soon be domiciled with the Nigerian Railway Corporation.
The concession will also generate up to N140bn for FG within a 10-year period.
If passengers can book tickets from the comfort of their homes, it will attract more passengers.
The Warri business side is expected to generate N50bn and the Lagos state will generate N90bn during the 10-year period.
The project will kick off soon.
