This eerie CCTV footage shared from an ancient city centre street is causing people to lose their minds with speculation the clip could show a haunted bicycle in action.

The footage was taken on The Shambles, which is a historic street in York and features preserved mediaeval buildings, some dating back as far as the 14th century. The street is narrow, with many timber-framed buildings with jettied floors that overhang the street by several feet. York is one of the oldest cities in England, dating back to 71AD and the Roman Empire and has a rich tradition of ‘paranormal’ activity.
