Just a few days, Google announced the Pixel 4a after months of delays. It was originally supposed to be shown off at Google’s I/O developer conference, just like the Pixel 3a was in 2019. I/O ended up being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Google held off on launching the Pixel 4a for a while.
The budget Pixel comes in at $349, and it’s all about bringing those flagship features down to a lower price point. It has the same 12MP single-lens camera that Google has been using, and since the company relies heavily on software to take good pictures, it has the exact same feature set. The only thing missing is the 2x zoom lens that’s found on the Pixel 4. It supports things like astrophotography, Super Res Zoom, and more.
