Power was cut out in the Caldwell and Catawba counties following a plane crash earlier this morning. Crews were later seen responding to the crash.
The plane crash occurred early Sunday morning off 32nd Avenue Drive NW.

It was reported that about 18000 people were left without power after the incident occurred. Duke Energy made that confirmation. However, the number drastically dropped to 18, and should by the time of this report, dropped even further.
