MGID is a scam: Publishers beware!

The image above shows that MGID blocked the ad codes I put on my site after I earned $40. It took the team this long for them to arrive on the conclusion that the clicks on their widget that was placed on my site attracted invalid clicks.

That’s a lie!

They first sent me this:

Hello,

Your website aidenpromotions.com has been blocked in the MGID Publishers section due to high amount of invalid clicks received. The reasons of this action may be, but is not limited to: fraud clicks on MGID ads, incentivised traffic, high amount of bots or other non-human activity, low quality traffic sources, invalid ad placement etc.

Old ad units have been suspended and are no longer active. New ads cannot be added or placed on blocked domains. Your current retained revenue will remain untouched until MGID receives any refund requests from the advertisers who suffered damage from the sold clicks.

MGID Quality Assurance department’s goal is to bring only high-quality traffic to our advertisers, that’s why the algorithms remain hidden and any exact case details will remain unspecified. Consider this decision final, blocked websites cannot be reviewed to continue the cooperation.

Regards, MGID team

I have written twice to the management today that they should look for ways to restore my account but they refused. The second email I received reads thus:

Hello,
Your website was blocked because we have detected suspicious activity on the advertisers’ side. We’d like to inform you that we have an in-house quality assurance system and we use it in combination with other partners to check the quality of the traffic. And this system confirmed the low traffic quality.

This is not to say that you have been sending fraud clicks to our widgets. Most likely those came from google search engine or some other external sources from where you get the traffic.

However, we are still obligated to provide our advertisers with good quality publishers, as they’re setting high bids for each click. So we are not interested in the monetization of traffic that you have.

Regards,

I should have known better for there have been complaints about MGID online.

The company has shamelessly been peddling the same message when they want to dupe publishers.
