    A pattern is already forming. It is hard to tell whether Smith’s move inspired the latest attack but one wonders how many attacks will be carried out on comedians before 2022 is over.

    Are they even safe at all?

    The latest attack on Chappelle is said to have opened a dangerous can of worms for comedians all around the world. Los Angeles receives more attantion any way.

    Why?

    The district attorney rejected felony prosecution, leaving some to wonder if this decision could lead to more violent, even fatal encounters against comedians.

    Dave Chappelle will go down in history as the second stand-up comedian that was attacked on stage when doing his job.

    Chris Rock remains the number one man in this case.

    Earlier this week, Chappelle was attacked but managed to sustain no injuries on stage.
