One of the biggest “a-ha” moments I ever had was when I realized, well into adulthood, how many beautiful women I admired had “fake” lashes, hair, nails, brows, whatever. Growing up, I thought these were things reserved for very wealthy people; I had no idea how ubiquitous they could be!

AND it also made me realize that these things can be done so professionally and discretely that I would never have realized it because they looked natural. Many, many people have “fake” beauty bits that truly compliment their natural features and I think that’s great.

I DO worry about some of the more extreme lashes and how hard they must be to keep clean and maintain and if there are longer-term impacts related to eye health and eye sight that folks aren’t informed about. I’ve seen some done where the after picture looks SORE and swollen!
