    Rod wave surprise!

In the news today, Rod Wave Crashes Through Stage, Back First …

Rod Wave is dedicated to his art — so much so, in fact, that he recreated a perilous leap from a window live onstage for all his fans … although, it’s quite clear they didn’t want this.

The rapper was performing in Lincoln, Nebraska Thursday … and at one point in his sold-out show, he decided to play stuntman right then and there in front of everyone — climbing on top of a set piece and reenacting something he did in one of his music videos.

  • Fat Joe touts Custom Rolls Royce

Fat Joe keeps a world of luxury around him, and that includes his wheels.

The rapper recently snagging a $750K custom Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a bunch of sick features.

He ordered the custom Rolls-Royce 4 months ago after he saw a version of the wide-body Rolls while he was out in Dubai.

Once he saw it, he asked Will to build him one.

Will tells TMZ Hip Hop the job proved to be challenging for the team because Joe demands the absolute best and the kits are made to order and delivered from Europe.

Joe’s dropped $100k for the car’s body, and Will and his crew added 24” wheels and tires. They took over 30 days to build the car.

This will be that latest cartraption that marks the 3rd Rolls-Royce SUV Will the team has done for Joe. Last year, they hooked him up with a sweet RR orange-and-black ensemble.

  • Video: Listen to rap veterans Fabolous, Bow Wow, others bare their minds on the genre

Fabolous has admitted that top-tier lyricism is a little harder to find in Hip Hop today, but that doesn’t mean it’s gone.

“I think it’s still here, in a sense. It’s just not always pushed to the forefront,” Fab said. “I think people need to hear lyrics that push them, that inspire them, create memories to. They need those. Every song can’t just be party, turn up. You need something that gives you…”

“Balance,” Big Tigger responded, before Fab added: “We’re getting [lyricism] in little spurts.”

He referenced an earlier part of the conversation where the panel members (Tigger, Fab, Bow Wow, Kenny Burns, and DJ Jelly) spoke about “what’s getting pushed and who’s pushing it,” and that those decisions account for why lyrical rappers don’t always get the biggest commercial looks.

“But I believe [lyricism is] here and I believe even now, the audience has the power to research it,” Fab conlcuded. “They could search online, they could find those guys.”
