realme has announced the realme GT5 Pro, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone, at an event in China.
The phone packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X1 AMOLED screen with 4500 nits brightness, Pro-XDR high dynamic display, Dolby Vision, 2160Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, 144Hz refresh rate, and 20,000-level dimming.
It comes with ultra-narrow bezels, and the chin has just 1.94mm bezel. This device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
It has 3VC iceberg cooling system with an area of 12,000mm² and has Geek Performance Panel 2.0 enabling GPU+CPU dual scheduling for the first time.
There’s a high-end nano-skin technology for the Red Rock and Bright Moon colours, which has undergone more than 500,000 wear resistance tests, according to information dropping from realme.
The realme GT5 Pro features a super-hard aluminium metal middle frame, improving drop resistance by 40%.
The smartphone is the first in the industry to introduce rapid palm unlock. When the display is off, users can simply open their palm and bring it close to the screen to turn it on and quickly unlock the device.
It has a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, 3X optical zoom, 6X Lossless zoom, telephoto close-ups, and low-light telephoto portraits.
The phone packs a 5400mAh battery with 100W flash charging, and it has 50W wireless flash charging. It offers 50% charge in 12 minutes in wired and promises over 80% battery health even after 1600 charging cycles.
