Woman in Peru twerks beside husband’s coffin

Funerals are conventionally recognized as venues of grief and serious contemplation.

However, an event in Peru took an astonishing turn when a widow was recorded dancing provocatively against a life-sized cut-out of her deceased husband positioned beside his open coffin.

Attired in all black, the woman was observed gyrating against the cardboard memorial as mourners applauded, yelled, and encouraged her.

The assembly transformed into a lively celebration when reggaeton artist El Cangri del Callao, a self-proclaimed ‘wake entertainer,’ enlivened the event with upbeat tracks.

At one juncture, the entertainer even urged other attendees to join in on the dance floor and release their grief.

This unconventional farewell, which occurred on July 6, was entirely captured on film.

El Cangri subsequently shared the footage on Instagram, where it amassed 4.3 million views and nearly 8,000 comments.

Social media amusingly responded with one remark stating: ‘Hi bro, I’m going to die on July 23. Are you available? ‘
