In the show Peaky Blinders, if you have watched it, you will notice that Thomas Shelby smokes A LOT. You may be thinking, God surely this is bad for him. The thing is they aren’t real cigarettes with tobacco in them but in fact herbal cigarettes with no tobacco in them.
In an interview asked about the smoking in Peaky Blinders, here’s what Cillian had to say:
“I don’t smoke but people did smoke all day and night then. I use herbal rose things, they’re like my five a day! I asked the prop guys to count how many we use during a series and it’s 3,000.”
