5.6-magnitude quake hits Sand Point, Alaska

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted 128 km SSE of Sand Point, Alaska at 0407 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 13.78 km, was initially determined to be at 54.2886 degrees north latitude and 159.6651 degrees west longitude.
