compared to the A56 in a few aspects, but it is smaller in size, battery capacity, and in other aspects.

Below are some of the angles touched:

  1. Itel A36 Design & Display
  2. Itel A36 Processor

  5. Speaker & Call Quality
  6. Software Features & Sensors
  7. Camera, Video, & Image Quality

Itel A36 Design & Display

This is a small device as the display measures just 5.5 inches. The screen resolution is 480 x 960
pixels IPS LCD 16M colors capacitive touchscreen. Its pixel density is 226 ppi, and it comes in blue
and black colors. Furthermore, the screen to body ratio is 68.2 percent, and the aspect ratio is 18:9.
Also, the screen protector is scratch-resistant glass. This display has no bezels whatsoever.

Itel A36 Processor

The processor type inside the Itel A36 is UniSoC Spreadtrum SC7731E. It works with a CPU speed of
1.3 GHz and this suggests that the smartphone is not able to operate very fast. In addition to that,
there is ARM Mali T820 MP1 GPU to make graphics look nice.

RAM/Storage Features

Itel A36 RAM capacity is 1 GB, while storage capacity is 16 GB. There is a card slot to accommodate a
microSD card and this can be used to increase the storage up to 32 GB.

Battery Power

Powering the Itel A36 is a meager 3020 mAh Li-Ion removable battery that has no fast charging
support. The battery proves effective on the kind of features found on the phone. So, the battery
can provide a good backup.

Speaker & Call Quality

The loudspeaker of Itel A36 is placed at its rear. It is effective as it provides loud volume although it
is not a stereo speaker. However, making and receiving calls are effective because the volume is
enough when turned up. There is also the provision of a 3.5mm audio jack in the device.

Software Features & Sensors

This device is powered by Android v9 Pie Go Edition. Sensors in the device include a fingerprint sensor,
positioned at the rear, proximity, and accelerometer.

Camera, Video, & Image Quality

Itel keeps it simple at the camera level. There is 5 MP camera one at the rear and one at the front.
The one at the rear is the main lens. The cameras sport a single LED flash and these are accompanied
by other features. Yet, the cameras produce far less quality when it comes to images and video
outputs. However, considering how low the megapixels are, the images are still nice.

Itel A36 Price

The price of the Itel phone is $75 as of the day it was launched. In Nigeria, the price is about N29,000.
Price is susceptible to changes, so one may not find it at that same price at the time of purchase.

The Verdict

There are other nice specs in the phone. In this way, it is not all that bad although the smartphone
is not for savvy users. The compact design, the reduced features, and specs suggest that the phone
will be nice for teenagers or people not so accustomed to the use of smartphones.
