2026 FIFA World Cup: Matches may be move to Canada

FIFA WC

FIFA may relocate World Cup matches to Canada due to US visa restrictions. FIFA is reportedly evaluating the possibility of transferring certain 2026 World Cup matches from the United States to Canada amidst growing concerns regarding US visa regulations.

The recent limitations have faced backlash from supporters and human rights organizations, as entire groups of fans, media, and personnel encounter difficulties in obtaining entry into the US.

Currently, up to 43 nations are prohibited from entering, including qualifying countries such as Iran, prompting inquiries regarding FIFA’s dedication to inclusivity and equitable access. While the US provides significant financial resources, some argue that Canada might present enhanced stability and impartiality.

With the tournament merely a year away, uncertainties remain about whether the United States is prepared to host soccer’s premier event, or if it is on the verge of committing a significant blunder.

Browse through the subsequent gallery to determine if the United States is ready for soccer’s monumental occasion.
