Flood: Victims in Hongwon Move into New Houses

The residents in Unpho and Kyongpho workers’ districts in Hongwon County, South Hamgyong Province moved into new houses built neatly on the shore of the East Sea of Korea thanks to the heroic struggle of the combatants of the elite division of the Party members from the capital city of Pyongyang.

A ceremony of moving into new houses took place in Unpho Workers’ District on October 18.

Present there were Commander Choe Hwi of Division No.1 of the Party Members from the Capital City, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea; Commissar Ri Yong Sik, first deputy director of the Information and Publicity Department of the WPK Central Committee; Ri Jong Nam, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK; officials concerned, commanding officers and combatants of the division, officials and working people in Hongwon County, and the residents in the damaged areas.
