• 3 killed in a racially motivated move

In the news today, a white man said to be armed with a high-powered rifle and a handgun killed three Black people at a Dollar General store in Jacksonville, Florida, then after that, shooting himself, in what local law enforcement described as a racially motivated crime. The real motivation is not known.

“This shooting was racially motivated, and he hated Black people,” Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters told a press conference.

The suspect, whom Waters described as a white male wearing a tactical vest, was not identified. However, he’s dead now. Waters said all three victims – two men and a woman – were Black.

Waters said authorities believed the shooter acted alone, and that before the shooting he had authored “several manifestos” for media, his parents and law enforcement detailing his hatred for Black people. More on this later.

  • Dave Chappelle attack on stage: Should we blame Will Smith?

    Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

    Isaiah Lee attacked Dave Chappelle.

A pattern is already forming. It is hard to tell whether Smith’s move inspired the latest attack but one wonders how many attacks will be carried out on comedians before 2022 is over.

Are they even safe at all?

The latest attack on Chappelle is said to have opened a dangerous can of worms for comedians all around the world. Los Angeles receives more attantion any way.

    Why?

The district attorney rejected felony prosecution, leaving some to wonder if this decision could lead to more violent, even fatal encounters against comedians.

  • 56fb Ponzi scheme crash in Nigeria

Reason why people believe the ponzi scheme has crashed is that investors were having a problem withdrawing their money on April 21st.

Unfortunately, no one attached ponzi to the company’s name until it crashed recently.

It is situated in Ikoyi, Lagos.

One of the reasons the admins pulled the plug was that they couldn’t allow themselves to lose out.

    What was wrong?

Any scheme promising you more than 50 percent in return is bound to fail you. If you join, don’t regret if you ever lost all your money.

  • 6 Americans sentenced for corruption in Venezuela

Six American oil executives held for three years in Venezuela were found guilty of corruption charges by a judge Thursday and immediately sentenced to prison, dashing hopes of a quick release that would send them home to their families in the United States.

Some relatives had been bracing for the disheartening outcome, which came on the evening of Thanksgiving Day.

Alirio Rafael Zambrano, brother to two of the men, said they were “undeniably innocent” and victims of “judicial terrorism.” No evidence in the case supports a guilty conviction, he said.

  • If Trump loses, will he go to jail?

For progressives, it is the stuff that dreams are made of: Donald Trump could soon trade his orange tan for a prison-issued orange jumpsuit.

But first, Americans have to render their verdict on November 3 before a district attorney or two ask another kind of jury to render another kind of verdict on the defendant, not president, Trump.
