Senmiao Technology Ltd. has initiated a ride-hailing drive in China. The company has also announced the operating metrics for its online ride-hailing platform in the month of November.
In that month, Senmiao realized more than 0.48 million total completed orders compared to the 0.57 orders realized a month before.
They claimed the decrease was due to reduced demand for online ride-hailing services in what they referred to as a softer environment. Other compliance checks may have also impacted the numbers of orders made.
The numbers reported included that of other partners in China as well. Those partners make use of Senmiao’s network of cars and drivers for an agreed monthly fee.
