Oppo Find N3 Flip is out now. It was unveiled in China as a high-end clamshell smartphone with an improved pocket-folding design. The device is available in Moonlight Muse, Mist Rose, and Night in the Mirror colors. It arrives with a new outer display dubbed “Any Window” that is more practical and efficient offering even easier interaction and more functionality compared to the previous generation. It also comes with plenty of customization options.
There’s a big circular camera island next to the outer display that pops out significantly from the surface. It houses three shooters. The first is a 50MP main one with an f/1.8 aperture, an 84-degree FoV and a 24 mm focal length equivalent The second is a 48MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture, a 114° FoV, and a 14 mm focal length equivalent. Finally, there’s a 32MP portrait camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a 49° FoV, and a 47 mm focal length equivalent. All three shooters have 6-element lenses and support autofocus. They are also aided by Hasselblad’s image-processing technology.
When unfolded, the device unveils its beautiful inner AMOLED ProXDR display with ultra-thin flexible glass and a 6.8-inch diagonal size with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 px. It supports a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and multi-brightness color calibration. The display is TUV Rheinland certified for being flicker-free and low blue light-emitting. The device uses a super tough Seiko quadi-cone hinge that is certified to withstand 600,000 folds. There’s a punch hole in the inner display housing the 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture, a 90° FoV, a 21 mm focal length equivalent, and a 5-element lens with AF.
