  • Realme GT5 Pro Confirmed with 100w wired & wireless charging

Realme has added their pride to mobile devices before 2023 is out. Get the feel below.

Realme is ready to introduce the Realme GT5 Pro flagship smartphone in the next week. It brings the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and also has a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera. Realme has just confirmed some details that make the deal even more attractive. The Realme GT5 Pro will keep this smartphone series’ tradition and will bring 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Realme GT5 Pro comes with 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and an advanced cooling solution

Realme aims to keep the hype alive until next week when it will launch the Realme GT 5 Pro. The official teasers confirm the phone with a huge 5,400 mAh battery that can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 12 minutes thanks to 100W charging.

The device may cost about CNY 3,499, which stands at $490. It’s a decent price considering the phone’s specs.

    Realme GT5 Pro

According to Realme, the full capacity of this battery is enough for the phone to run the Honor of Kings game for 8 hours straight. The nice addition here is the 50W wireless charging. That feature is often seen in premium smartphones, so it’s nice to see Realme bringing it to a more affordable field.

  • iQOO Neo 9 Design Teased

A close look at the iQOO Neo9 phone variant shows a woven fabric finish in white color. The second tone seems to embrace a Leather finish, painted in Red. These are most likely based on plastic. After all, the iQOO Neo9 series is not iQOO’s premium lineup. It is assumed that the company will likely bring the style with realistic materials for the phone’s pricing point.

The official images are correct with the rumors about the iQOO Neo9 series. The iQOO Neo 9 is expected to come with a 6.78-inch screen with 1220p resolution and a Sony IMX920 camera, just as we had it in the rumors. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro variant will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Judging by the official teaser, both phones will bring a Dual-Camera System.

The iQOO Neo series currently stands as the iQOO Mid-offering and is above the iQOO Z series but lower in quality to the numbered premium series. While the iQOO 12 series will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and other features, the iQOO Neo9 Pro will stick with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2.

  • Boombox Unveils Enhanced Cloud Storage for Musicians

Boombox today announced a significant enhancement to its services: a fully functional file storage & backup system, further positioning itself as an alternative to major cloud storage providers such as Dropbox and Google Drive, designed for the music industry.

The new file storage system addresses the specific needs of music creators who often struggle with generic tools not tailored to their workflow.

It is stated that reators are forced to upload & download project files from dozens of places throughout the process of producing a song. Boombox’s vision is not to add another step, but rather bring them all under one roof. Today, we’re making a move closer to that goal by providing our customers the ability to store and organize their files on Boombox instead of using tools like Google Drive. The goal is to save our users some steps, some time and hopefully some money.

Alongside the new storage system, the platform continues to evolve its collaboration features. Plans include introducing new tools such as high fidelity audio playback, and AI-driven file organization. The team also plans to fast track building out the Boombox artist network in 2024, from its current beta version.

“It’s been critical for us to not only to become the all-in-one solution for modern music creators – but also to stay price competitive with the large cloud storage provider players while offering better-specialized features,” said Tom Chavez, co-founder and CEO of Boombox. “As a musician and engineer, I’m excited to see that a future is finally here where musicians can cut through all the noise and take back control of their workflows all in a single location.”

Boombox has quickly become the go-to for music producers to store, version, and track their music files, collect time-stamped feedback on audio tracks, and even manage contracts and song ownership, among many other features. All these possibilities materialized in 2022.

  • Blue Shield of California’s award-winning Wellvolution program, now more accessible to Spanish speakers

Blue Shield of California is improving access to its award-winning Wellvolution digital health platform for Spanish speakers and expanding its programs with the addition of Dario, a high blood pressure (or hypertension) solution that combines personalized health advice and monitoring through high-tech tools.

In collaboration with Solera, more than 148,000 Blue Shield of California members are currently enrolled in Wellvolution programs focused on lifestyle medicine and mental health support. Now, the nonprofit health plan has launched a new Wellvolution website where eligible members can enroll, select their health goal, answer a health questionnaire and receive personalized program recommendations, all in Spanish.

More than 26% of Californians speak Spanish at home, and studies show that Latino communities in California often have more difficulty finding a doctor and accessing mental health services than other groups due to language barriers and lack of access to preventive care. Today’s announcement helps fill healthcare gaps and expand access to lifestyle medicine in these underserved communities.

“Our goal is to make lifestyle medicine accessible to more people, and the addition of integration and hypertension services in Spanish opens Wellvolution to those who need it,” said Angie Kalousek-Ebrahimi, Senior Director of Medicine of Blue Shield of California Lifestyle. “Wellvolution was created to offer personalized solutions that respond to individual needs, and it is only right that we continue to expand the program to reduce gaps in care and meet the needs of our diverse members.”

Wellvolution offers at least one program in Spanish for every health need the platform covers: diabetes, weight management, mental health, help to quit smoking, and hypertension.
